An innovator in education financing, Nelnet ranks among the nation's leaders in terms of total student loan assets under management. They recognize that their ability to remain a leader in their industry depends on continuous learning opportunities for their team members. Nelnet partnered with Bellevue University to develop a set of custom leadership courses expressly for Nelnet's next generation of leaders. The courses cover team and group dynamics, concepts of leadership, organizational change, and much more. A total of five courses were developed and are offered online. Each course is worth four credit hours and can be applied to a Bellevue University bachelor's degree.
Known as "the world's largest specialty home improvement retailer," The Home Depot partnered with Bellevue University to develop an exclusive learning program with input from retail subject matter experts. The program, called Professional Retail Management (PRM), is open only to employees of The Home Depot and is designed to develop Home Depot associates' knowledge of successful retail management practices with a specific focus on the home improvement industry and an increase in strategic thinking capabilities. It was designed to support the development of a leadership pipeline for the company.
The PRM program can be taken as a major for a Bachelor of Science degree from Bellevue University. It is offered online, making it accessible to Home Depot employees around the globe.
Bellevue University's strategic agreement with The Home Depot received the gold award for "Excellence in Academic Partnerships" at the 2009 Chief Learning Officer Symposium held in Colorado Springs.
