Arby's Deploys Custom-Learning Program with Bellevue University to Grow Careers — and Business

Bellevue University announced today that the latest partner in their stable of corporate partners is Arby's Restaurant Group, the second-largest quick-service sandwich chain in the U.S. The University, with input from Arby's executive management team, developed a custom-learning program exclusively for Arby's Team Members. The program, called Arby's Business Management & Leadership, gives Team Members the knowledge and skills they need to be more confident on the job and grow in their careers.

"At Arby's, we live our line, 'Start Here. Go Anywhere.'" said Damian Hanft, director of talent management at Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. "Arby's is often the first job for people. Through this learning opportunity, we are providing the knowledge and skills people need to be their best on the job everyday, and to grow with our company."

The courses in the custom learning program covers financial fundamentals, service operations management, merchandising and advertising, and more. Each is designed to address the identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive Arby's business. Upon completion of the program, Arby's Team Members earn a certificate of completion worth 36 college credits that then may be applied to Bellevue University's Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management & Leadership.

Arby's is giving their Team Members the opportunity to opt-in to a career-enhancing program. They get to raise their hands and demonstrate that they're committed to their own career growth, and when that happens, the corporation prospers."

Arby's Restaurant Group will make the custom-learning program available to Team Members system-wide this fall. Bellevue University provides all the marketing communications collateral to stimulate interest in the program, including a custom, co-branded website where Team Members can learn more, inquire/enroll, and where testimonials/success stories will be posted.
